 Susanne(left) and Amy(right) are
really excited about creating Dental Giggles. We wanted to let everyone know a
little about how we decided to create this business.
Both Susanne and Amy are Registered Dental Hygienist and met in Dental Hygiene School and became really good friends over the years. “We were always looking for fun dental items; we searched the internet, stores and everywhere to find something different.”
 After graduation in 2006,
we attended several conferences together. While we were in a hotel one night,
we started talking about how we wish we could find this or that. We both got the
idea that we could provide all of the things that we had talked about.
Once we began rattling off items, we grabbed our notebooks and started
writing ideas down. Believe us, our minds and mouths were running just
as fast as we came up with several ideas within minutes.
To this day, we still have lots of plans.
Once we got started we saw it does take a lot of money and patience to begin a
business, not to mention how scary it is. We decided if we were going to do it,
we wanted to go all out and do it right. We have met and talked with many
talented and well known artists, across the U.S., that we are working with. They are
producing items that are exclusively available at Dental Giggles.
At our shows people have asked if we would consider
doing a certain item, and believe us, we will consider doing it
all, and we are in the process of a couple of things people have
already requested. So please email us, if you would like to see
something added. We will always be adding new items, so check with
us frequently. Because we consider our self a more
boutique style, some items may be limited.
We love our profession, and we are proud to be
helping many people with their oral health. We are sure
that anyone in the dental profession feels the same. It’s
rewarding and challenging, but we both feel
we chose the right profession for us.
